TEA TIME SNACK RECIPES




It's tea time and you are fretting as to what different and new can you serve with tea for your family or guests. Then look no further! This post is specially meant for you. I am sharing here some really easy to prepare snack recipes that are ideal to serve with tea.



These fritters are made with tomatoes and capsicums and both give a great flavour and taste to the fritters. 



This is a delicious snack/ starter recipe made with chicken and bread. It does not take much time to cook and tastes awesome.



In this recipe, boiled chicken is mixed with white sauce, seasoned with salt and pepper and then deep fried in oil. This recipe also has egg whites, but if you are very fond of eggs, you can ignore it.



Aloo ki bajji is a very popular snack that is often served with tea. The recipe varies from region to region and here I am sharing the recipe of aloo ki bajji the way we make at home. These potato fritters taste best when served hot with tomato ketchup.



In this recipe the rolls have vegetable stuffing and have been deep fried in oil. You can serve these hot bread rolls with tomato ketchup or green chutney.




Rice and cheese cutlet is a very simple and easy to cook cutlet made using cooked rice and oats with cheese filling. The cutlet is crispy outside and soft inside.





Simple recipe of bajji made with eggs... crunchy and delicious... 




Here the samosa covering has several layers and is filled with delicious egg filling. Since samosas are usually triangular, for a change I made it rectangular.




Raw banana fritters orVazhakka bajji is a very popular snack in Tamil Nadu. It can be served with chutney or tomato sauce and is best served as an evening snack with tea.



This is one awesome recipe of sponge cake that requires neither an oven nor the basic cup measurements. Here everything is easy, you need very few ingredients and your preparation time is reduced to just 5 minutes. So go ahead and try this out at home. I am sure this will be quick and delicious.




This is a very simple and easy to cook recipe. The rolls are crispy on the outside, soft inside and the cheese just melts in the mouth. This gets done in about 20 minutes and can be served as an appetizer or as a tea time snack.

Kheema samosa or minced meat samosa is a delicious type of samosa commonly prepared in the North Arcot district of Tamil Nadu. Here there are several layers of dough on top of each other and the samosa is usually stuffed with spicy minced meat (kheema) filling.





They are very easy to make and do not consume much time. Made with lentils these vadai are nutritious too...

I am giving here the recipe of the potato samosa we make at home. The outer part is crunchy while the inner potato mixture just melts in the mouth. 





Shami kabab is a highly flavoured and delicious dish. It differs from the normal shami due to the presence of a mixture of spices and onions.
